Fisherman charged with murder

A fisherman from the Essequibo Coast, Joel Marks, was arrested and charged at the Mabaruma Magistrates Court via Zoom on Tuesday for attempted murder. Marks attempted to murder one Christof Bridgemohan.

Before Senior Magistrate Sunil Scarce, he was not required to plea, bail was granted to the tune of $300,000 and the case was put down to May 18, 2021.
