Police to hold officers’ confab Thursday

The Guyana Police Force will be hosting its annual Police Conference from Thursday March 04, 2021 to Saturday March 06, 2021.

This year’s conference will be held under the theme “Enhancing Professionalism, Police Community Relations and Confidence Through Continuous Security Sector Reform and Partnerships”.

The opening ceremony which starts at 09:00 hrs will be live-streamed on all media platforms of the Guyana Police Force. It will be held at the National Cultural Centre under strict COVID-19 guidelines. Deputy Commissioner (ag) ‘Operations’ Clifton Hicken on Friday led a team of officers on a site visit to the NCC as preparations get underway for the conference, the police said in a statement.
