Several arrested during Plum Park, Liliendaal raids

…as Police find 848 grams of cannabis, .38 special revolver, motorcycles, laptops, jewelry, cash

Several persons have been arrested by Police following the discovery of a quantity of items believed to be stolen during a raid at Plum Park Sophia and Liliendaal.

On Tuesday between 04:30h and 08:00h Police discovered 848 grams of suspected cannabis, a suspected .38 special revolver, two XR and two Honda motorcycles, one 65″ TCL television, two laptop computers, a quantity of electrical and non-electrical tools, one pressure washer, one weeding machine, one motorcycle number plate, a JPS1 trade plate, G$395,000 cash and a quantity of gold jewelry were found, all of which are suspected to be unlawfully obtained.

The cordon and search/ raid exercise was led by a Detective Inspector and a party of Police ranks.
Investigations are ongoing.
