An elderly woman  died from Covid-19 at her home, the Ministry of Health has confirmed.

The 82-year-old female from Region Ten (Upper Demerara-Berbice) has become the 182nd person to have died here since the disease broke out in this country.

The ministry said a swab test was done on the woman’s body arrival  at a medical facility, which revealed a positive result for COVD-19.
