Motorcyclist killed in East La Penitence accident; two pedestrians injured

A motorcyclists was on Sunday afternoon killed after he lost control of his motorcycle and collided into a utility police on Arapaima Street, East La Penitence, Georgetown and injuring two pedestrians in the process.
The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Kemston Richards of Plum Park, Sophia. According to reports, at about 15:30h, Richards was driving motorcycle CK 7533 north along Arapaima Street at a fast rate when he lost control of the motorcycle and collided into the utility pole.

Police said the motorcyclist fell on the roadway and sustained injuries about his body, whilst his motorcycle traveled further in the eastern direction and collided into the two pedestrians, 34-year-old Kevin Fletcher and a 15-year-old.
