Police destroy acres of cannabis farms at Gaetroy, Upper Berbice River

Ranks of the Guyana Police Force on Friday destroyed a cultivated cannabis farm measuring
about 1.5 acres and about 75,00 plants, one camp with about 50 kilos of dry cannabis and a nursery with about 10,000 seedlings at Gaetroy, Upper Berbice River.

The eradication exercise was conducted between 05:45h and 16:00h.
