The victim then told the two men that he doesn’t know anyone by that name after which one of the suspects grabbed him by the neck and pulled his Acatel cellphone valued $27,000 out of his hands. The victim tried to resist, however, the other male took out a knife and slashed the victim under his chin.

Both suspects then ran to a waiting motorcar (silver/grey spacio) that was nearby which sped off toward the La Grange direction.

The victim managed to raise an alarm after and was escorted to the Wales Police Station where a report was made. The man was subsequently escorted to the West Demerara Regional Hospital where he was seen and examined by the Doctor on duty. An investigation is ongoing.
