One of the murder accused who has been remanded to prison Kaprese Nobrega

Two men were on Tuesday charged for the murder of 20-yar-old Kevin Campbell of ‘C’ Field Sophia, East Coast Demerara (ECD) which occurred between March 21 and 27, 2020 at ‘B’ Field Sophia, Greater Georgetown.

The duo, 18-year-old Kaprese Norbrega or Kaprese Richmond, a Mechanic, of ‘C’ Field, Sophia, E.C.D and 26-year-old Shay Carter also known as Shawn of “B” Field, Sophia, Greater Georgetown, were arrested on January 21, 2021 and charged jointly for Campbell’s murder.

CCJ to Rule July 29 in Mohameds’ Extradition Appeal

The accused appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate Court #1 before Magistrate  Rushell Liverpool where the murder charge was read to them.

They were not required to plea to the indictable charge and were remanded to prison until March 23, 2021 when the hearing will occur.
