The village of St Ignatius near Lethem is mourning the loss of a young woman who drowned at a creek in the village late on Sunday.

Dead is Kimberly Yow who was said to be in her early 20s. The woman went to swim at a creek at St Ignatius along with several other persons when she went under, sometime after 1800hrs. Her untimely death sent shockwaves throughout the village.
