A Police Constable was on Tuesday charged with three counts of “Uttering Forged Documents” committed on Public Justice when he appeared before Magistrate Wanda Fortune at the Linden Magistrates’ Court.
The Constable, Omali Lloyd plead not guilty to all three charges and was granted $25,000 bail each on two of the charges and self-bail on the other, provided that he lodged his passport and report to the Wismar Police Station weekly.
According to Police, Lloyd on two occasions produced sick leave from two doctors attached at the Linden Hospital and a leave form purportedly signed by an Officer. On verification it was found that none were authentic.
The case has been adjourned to January 22, 2021.
