She said that between December 31, 2020 and January 1, 2021 a stench began emanating through the area but she and other residents assumed an animal had died. However, on January 6, 2021, “the stench became stronger and they decided to follow the stench which led to the discovery of the deceased body lying in a flat wooden dilapidated and abandon building on the corner of the street”.
Police visited the scene and discovered the body which was clad only in a black jersey. They combed the area for anything evidential but were unsuccessful.

The deceased’s body is currently at Wismar Hospital Mortuary awaiting identification and Post Mortem Examination.
