Cane Harvester found dead by wife in front washroom

A 53-year-old Cane Harvester of Philadelphia, East Bank Demerara (EBD) was on Boxing day found motionless in front of his home’s bathroom.

Dead is Dhanpaul Ramdai.
According to Police, on December 26, 2020, at about 18:30h, Ramdai went out and consumed a few beers. He returned home, had a meal and then retired to bed. At about 21:00h, he woke to use the washroom and a loud sound was heard by his wife.

Upon hearing the sound, Ramdai’s wife checked to see where the sound came from and discovered the deceased lying in front the washroom door motionless with his face upwards.

The Cane Harvester was then rushed to the Leonora Cottage Hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival. No marks of violence were discovered on his body. His body is at the Ezekiel Funeral Parlour awaiting a post mortem examination.
Investigations are ongoing.
