An 82-year-old retired Priest of Vlissengen Road, Lodge was on found dead with what appears to be seven stab wounds about his body.
According to police, George Chuck-A-Sang was killed between December 18, 2020 and December 21, 2020.

She said on December 21, at about 15:00h she called her father via WhatsApp and his phone rang out. The younger Chuck-A-Sang said she visited her father’s residence but was unable to reach him.

She subsequently visited the residence of the current Priest Monsell Alves, of North-East La Penitence and she told him she was unable to contact her father. Priest Alves and Chuck- A- Sang accompanied by Priest Alves, returned to her father’s home. Alves opened the office door, where he resided and they entered via an inner stairway to the upper flat of the house, where the victim was discovered motionless on the floor. He was clad only in a white brief.

Police reported that the senior Chuck- A- Sang’s forehead was also swollen. He was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

His body is at the Lyken Funeral Home awaiting a Post Mortem Examination.

Investigations are ongoing.
