Construction worker dies after crashing into cow

A 22-year-old construction worker of Grant 79 Crabwood Creek, East Berbice- Corentyne (Region Six) died Saturday morning after crashing into a cow Saturday night on the Crabwood Creek Public Road.

Dead is Akram Hack.

According to Police, Hack was driving a motorcycle along the Crabwood Creek Public Road at about 11:00h when he collided with a brown, spotted cow. He fell to the road and received injuries.

Hack was picked up in an unconscious condition by Police and taken to the Skeldon Public Hospital where he was treated for his injuries and subsequently transferred to the New Amsterdam Public Hospital.

Police said that the man “was pronounced dead at the Port Mourant Public Hospital by a doctor” at 01:50h Sunday.
Hack’s body is stationed at the Ramo Funeral Home awaiting a Post Mortem Examination.
