Chief of Staff Brigadier, Godfrey Bess hands over a presentation cheque to soldiers at the ceremony

Showing appreciation for outstanding performance, 400 soldiers and civilian employees from units of the Force were honoured on Friday with monetary incentives at a simple ceremony held at Base Camp Ayanganna.

Staff Officer One General One (SO1G1), Major Greasels Hinckson indicated that the incentives serve as tokens of appreciation to those who remain committed throughout the year and have gone beyond the regular call of duty. Incentives are awarded annually to boost motivation and foster teamwork.

In brief remarks, Chief of Staff Brigadier, Godfrey Best congratulated the awardees and charged them to continue setting high standards. He also reminded them of their value

to the Force as an organization. “I encourage you to continue supporting and inspiring each other, and to ensure the safety of yourselves and family members against COVID19,” he said.
