GOA mourns death of Raoul Archer

Council Member of the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) and President of the Guyana Judo Association, Raoul Archer has died leaving members of the Associations saddened and in shock.

The GOA said Archer will be remembered for his dedication to sport, in particular, the development of Judo in Guyana.

The Association said it will remember him for his sterling contributions to the activities of the GOA.

“The sporting fraternity of Guyana has suffered a tremendous loss,” GOA said while sympathizing with Archer’s wife, relatives and friends as well as members of the Guyana Judo Association.
