Man dies after hit by dump truck

An unidentified man met an untimely end on Sunday morning when he was struck down by dump truck at Stewartville, West Coast Demerara.

Reports are that the accident occurred around 09:00hrs. The man was attempting to cross the road when he was struck down by the truck bearing registration GSS 3519.

The truck’s driver was taken into custody at the Leonora Police Station. Police are investigating the accident
