Two more persons have died from the Novel Coronavirus Diseases 2019 (COVID-19) taking the country’s death toll to 133.

The Ministry of Health, on Friday, announced that a 74-year-old woman from Region 10 (Upper Demerara -Berbice) and a 56-year-old man from Region One (Barima-Waini) have died from the virus. Both persons died while receiving treatment.

On Thursday, Guyana recorded 69 new COVID-19 cases taking the total to 4393 cases recorded since March 2020.
