Police outside the La Grange Certifying Office (Guyana Police Force photo)

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) on Friday opened a Certifying Office at La Grange, West Bank Demerara to cater to the demands of residents of Region Three (Essequibo Islands- West Demerara).

Police in a statement said the intention is to have the Certifying Office provide easy and fast access to services to residents of West Bank Demerara and the lower West Coast Demerara.

Origin of Black History Month

Among the services that will be offered by the office are the certification of motor vehicles, provision of competences and the issuing of driver and conductor licences.

Additionally, Practical Examinations will be conducted Wednesdays and Fridays at 13:00hrs.

The office will operate daily from 08:00 to 11:00hrs and 13:00 to 14:00hrs.
