COVID-19 death toll climbs to 110

A 55-year-old man from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica) who tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has died, the Ministry of Health reported.

The man’s death brings the total number of persons who died from the virus to 110.
The number of persons who tested positive for COVID-19 since March stands at 3710 with 1966 males and 1743 females. There are 14 persons in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital. There were 38 new cases of COVID-19 recorded yesterday.
Some 16, 744 persons have been tested for the virus so far.
