Education Minister tours Benjamin’s Bakery in Buxton

Minister of Education, Priya Manickchand on Friday toured Benjamin’s Bakery located in Buxton, East Coast Demerara (ECD).

The tour, which was facilitated by proprietor Adrian Benjamin, allowed Minister Manickchand to have a first-hand look at the various processes that lead to the production of the tasty products made by the 27-year-old business, the Ministry of Education said.

The Minister’s tour of the facility followed a Bursary Awards ceremony held by the bakery for 18 students who wrote the recent National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA)
