The North American Region of the People’s National Congress Reform has strongly condemned what it described as the senseless killing of two young black teenagers at Cotten three West Coast Berbice.

Dead are cousins: Joel Henry 19, and Isaiah Henry 17. The boys are from No.3 Village, WCB.

In a statement NAR said two young school boys were hacked to death by their assailants.

Tge group observed that just six weeks ago, Guyana experienced peace and tranquility. “The masses knew what would happen if the lawless PPPC cabal were to ever become the government in Guyana again.

Their fears, as in a dream, though reality has returned. In just over a month since being installed as the government, this fraudulent government has plunged Guyana into a state of disarray and lawlessness,” NAR said. The group said police brutality is in full display as well as disregard for human life and human rights continue to be the order of the day.

“Every attempt to start a race war in Guyana must be denounced.
The NAR call upon the International Community and the United Nations to condemn these human rights violations and injustices in Guyana.
We demand a full inquiry into the deaths of these two school boys whose only crime was being black.
“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice  everywhere.”
