Nandlall’s law firm partner Manoj Narayan replaces Benn at GECOM

Manoj Narayan a partner at Anil Nandlall law firm was on Thursday morning sworn in as a member of the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM).

Narayan replaces, Robeson Benn who resigned from the seven-member commission recently to take up the position as Home Affairs Minister. Narayan took the oath of office before President Irfaan Ali. Nandlall, Guyana’s attorney general was also present.

Meanwhile, President Ali also appointed Ganga Persaud as a member of the Public Service Commission. He replaces Ms. Geeta Chandan-Edmond, who resigned from the Commission, earlier this year.
