Bandit grabs woman’s phone, $65,000 cash

A line armed bandit on Saturday night grabbed a woman’s  phone and $65,000 during an attack in Linden.

In a release police said they are investigating the alleged robbery committed on  the 36-year-old self employed woman of Wismar Linden.

Police said the the bandit was armed. The robbery occurred at Stone Wall Wash Bay at Prosville Squatting Area Wismar Linden.

The bandit escaped with a Samsung S10 plus cellular phone valued $210,000.00 and $65,000.

Enquiries disclosed that the victim operates the said wash bay with her husband and on Saturday night around 20:00 hours she was alone at the wash bay and seated on a bench under a shed when the suspect who was clad in a pair of dark coloured pants with a black bandana tied around his head walked up to her and pointed  a gun to her face. He demanded money from her.  The suspect then pushed  his hands into the victim’s pants pocket and tòok out the cash and grabbed the phone from  the table.

The suspect made good his escape on foot into Wisroc Area.
No shot fired, investigations are ongoing.
