Edwin Prince and his sons today manage the daily operations of a family Pig Farm which dates back three generations. The family farm wholesales and retails pork to customers in the Greater Georgetown area and is located at Friendship on the East Bank of Demerara,

It was the level of service however which brought the farm to our attention says loyal customer Carol Swain. “I placed an ad in the helpguyana.com app for meat deliveries and one of the sons Shaun Prince answered”, within a day, Shaun had delivered my order of meat which was of a very high quality and since then I order meat delivery service every two weeks. The service remains excellent”

When asked specifically about the care and service provided by the Prince Farm, Shaun Prince stated that, “the idea was to transfer our family values of honesty, fairness, care and entrepreneurship into how we operate our business. We take pride in the service we provide to our customers”

While taking the steps to transform a family farming lifestyle into a business has its challenges, the family reported that they continue to receive support and guidance from close friends with legal and business management experience.

“Our immediate goal is to focus on the product we have by improving on our traditional methods of pig farming; thereby, applying modern solutions for business management, marketing and animal care”, stated Shaun Prince. The Prince Farm can be reached for wholesale and retail orders at the below contacts.
