The company staged their pieces for customers to interact with and understand how to style their products. This was especially evident in the young professional’s model house for Silica City, which was fully furnished by the Ashley Homestore and was a massive hit with the crowds.
The company attributed innovation in providing digital viewing options of their catalogue of products for customers to explore while offering real-time bookings and significant savings to interested buyers. By accepting various forms of electronic payments, including Visa/credit cards and online banking transfers, the retailers made it easy for customers to complete their purchases without the hassle of carrying cash, even as they also facilitated and welcomed cash transactions for those who preferred that option.
One customer, Coreen Jacobs-Chester, singled out Ashley Furniture Homestore for embracing technology and adapting to the evolving needs of modern consumers. She noted that by offering multiple payment options, Unicomer demonstrated its commitment to providing a customer-centric experience that caters to individual preferences.
“I was so happy about being able to use my bank card because many places you go, you still have to have the cash with you, or you wouldn’t be able to purchase what you want at that moment. So, that part of the shopping experience was fantastic for me,” she said, smiling.
Jacobs said she has been shopping at Courts since its opening in 1993 and is pleased to see the progress made to meet customers’ needs with excellent customer service.
Another satisfied customer, Shane Haly, who, along with his wife, came out shopping back-to-back days at the Expo, said he and his wife were happy to do their shopping safely, comfortably, and hassle-free because of the payment options. They bought furniture and décor items to furnish their home.
Haly explained that they decided to shop at the event over the weekend as they celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary.
Taslim Rasool, a customer who travelled all the way from Number 1 Canal (WBD) to tour the Building Expo, said he was impressed by the extensive selection of eyewear available at the Courts Optical booth. He left with a pair of sunglasses that caught his wife’s attention.
“The customer service was very good and the item I came to buy was a (pair) of sunglasses. As you realize the sun is very hot now and they recommend that you wear eye protection, so I came down here, and as I was browsing through the different booths, I came across the Courts Optical, and the main factor in me purchasing it is my wife. She said it is something nice, so, I should purchase it,” he detailed.
Similarly, another satisfied customer, Laikwattie “Radicka” Jagdharry, journeyed from West Coast Berbice specifically to acquire a pair of spectacles from Courts Optical. The customer praised the store’s knowledgeable staff who guided her through the selection process, ensuring she found spectacles that met her vision needs while also reflecting their personal style.
Jagharry, who said she has been shopping at Courts for approximately 15 years, explained that Courts Optical provided free eye testing prior to the Building Expo, and she was able to visit the company’s booth during the Expo to choose her spectacle frame.
