GPHC MEDICAL LABORATORY RELIES ON GNBS CALIBRATION SERVICES FOR ACCURATE RESULTS

Georgetown Mayor Pt. Ubraj Narine, in a statement, has expressed disappointment in the services provided by JetBlue Guyana/New York flight on Monday February 27.  According to the mayor, Guyanese must expect service of a high standard yet continue to be treated with little regard while others enter our country and are afforded luxuries and concessions that citizens are unable to access.
The full statement follows:-
I am most disappointed with the recent treatment meted out to Guyanese passengers aboard JetBlue Flight 1966 which departed Guyana on Monday, February 27, 2023. Passengers having paid for their tickets and baggage arrived in New York with their bags stranded in Guyana.

What is even more hurtful is that the airline even though acknowledging that it is at fault, has indicated that it will not compensate passengers, more so even as 24 hours have elapsed and passengers having to seek alternatives such as providing clothing for the harsh weather and changing schedules as a result of the negligence of the airline which provides a service to the Guyanese people.

The people of Guyana must expect service of a high standard. We continue to be treated with little regard while others enter our country and are afforded luxuries and concessions that citizens are unable to access.
