Several Persons charged for Terrorism

ACCUSED:
1. Julian Jason Peters, aged 30 years, a vendor of Victoria Village, ECD.
2. Phillip Burke, aged 35 years, a Contractor of Section ‘C’ Golden Grove, ECD.
3. Mark Hercules, aged 54 years, of Enmore North, ECD.
4. Anthony English, aged 28 years, of Golden Grove, ECD.
5. Terrence Adolphus Nedd, aged 29 years, of Nabaclis, ECD.
6. Keon Glasgow, aged 27 years, of David Street Golden Grove, ECD.
7. Tony Mc Kinnon, aged 52 years, of Golden Grove, ECD.
8. Carlos Kingston, aged 40 years, of Golden Grove, ECD.
9. David Berkshire, aged 44 years of Nabaclis, ECD.
OFFENCE:
Acts of Terrorism, contrary to Section 109 (A) (1) (b) (ii) of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act Chapter 8:01.
They all appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate Court #2 on Monday before Magistrate Alisha George where the charge was read to them.
They were not required to plea and bail was granted in the sum of $300,000 each with conditions that they lodge their passports and report every fortnight.
The matter was postponed to 2023-02-28 for report.
