GUYANA WELCOMES HOME MOVIE STAR LETITIA WRIGHT

Georgetown, Guyana – Guyana was abuzz with excitement on Friday night as Guyanese-born movie star Letitia Wright arrived at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport. The actress, best known for her roles in the blockbuster Black Panther films, was greeted by a cultural performance at a reception hosted by the airport.

Wright was welcomed by Hon. Oneidge Walrond, the Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, and serenaded by traditional dances, drumming, and steel pan music. The actress then met with First Lady Her Excellency Arya Ali before heading to Georgetown, the country’s capital.

During her stay in Guyana, Wright is expected to meet with President Irfaan Ali and be presented with the keys to the City by the Georgetown Mayor. The actress will spend several days in the country, and her visit is being hailed as a significant boost for tourism and the local film industry.

Fans of Wright and the Black Panther franchise are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to meet and take photos with the star, and her visit is expected to generate widespread media coverage and public interest.
