Fellow Guyanese, as we celebrate this joyous occasion let us help those in need in our local communities. Let us emulate the grace and the kindness of Jesus the Christ and do good to all.

Today, I express gratitude to every Guyanese, including the homemakers, the farmers, the business community, and particularly public sector workers for their hard work and sacrifice in providing different services to all Guyanese.

New Region Four REO vows people centred, accountable leadership

I especially wish to express gratitude to our doctors, nurses, health care and Joint Services workers, many of whom are working today tending to those in need of care and support, and keeping our society and country safe. Your dedication has not gone unnoticed. Your reward is sure.

Fellow Guyanese, may comfort, peace and joy fill your hearts and homes. And may your families, friends, and loved ones have a wonderful time this holiday season.

On behalf of my family and on my own behalf, I wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and the very best for 2023.

Happy holidays!
