Another inmate escapes from Lusignan Prison

The Guyana Prison Service has launched an investigation and manhunt following the escape of convicted prisoner James Moore.

Moore along with thirteen other prisoners were booked out from the Holding Bay to work at the Lusignan Prison kitchen on Tuesday, however, about 16:30 hours, he was discovered missing from his place of labour, police said in a release.

Moore is serving a three years sentence for Armed Robbery. His age was given as 23 years. His addresses on record are Lot 544 New Road Dairy and Dennis Street Turkeyen.
