‘OG Self Made Fruit Juice’ produces and offers 100 percent natural fruit juices in the flavours cherry; beetroot and cherry; passion fruit, pine and mango, and turmeric, tamarind and ginger.

Additionally, OG Self Made offers a ‘power shake’ called ‘Kaboom,’ which does not consist of any added sugar and provides a variety of nutrients that play major roles in maintaining good health.

The best seller, Kaboom is made of bananas, beetroot, kale, sunflower seed, flaxseed, chia seed, peanut, oats and full cream milk or coconut milk and spices.

In an interview with Village Voice News, the 35-year-old who has a passion for cooking related that his love for healthy eating led to the creation of his business.

“The reason why I started OG Self Made Fruit Juice is because I always like organic and natural things, I never believed in artificial stuff so that give me the boost to make the natural juice,” Grant said.

After the pandemic occurred, the father of one was at home with a lot of spare time on his hand. As such, he would get active in the kitchen where he mastered his juice making skills.

“I would always make juice at home and persons would always say that it has a nice taste. After the pandemic happened I had a lot of spare time so I decided to do my own business because my mother is always pushing me to do this because she said son you can put your juice out there and make money,” the man who is also a professional barber recalled.

Since the launch of his business in February 2021, Grant has been receiving an outpouring of support from the Linden community which has been motivating him to continue making his products.

Due to the spike in prices of fruits and vegetables, Grant has been experiencing challenges in obtaining affordable and efficient ingredients for the making of his products.

However, with management and networking, Grant plans to overcome the challenges and ensure that his business prospers.

Presently, he is working towards providing his products wholesale to supermarkets in Linden and he is also exploring other items to add to his list of products.

Grant’s hope for the future is to be able to create employment for young people through the expansion of his business.

The entrepreneur said, “As my business expand I will be hiring people, creating jobs for the younger folks. As years go by my intention is to create jobs for the youths because it is needed”.

Grant’s advice to youths is, “Never fall back, fall forward because you will know what you are falling on”.
