Dear Editor,

This must be down to old age or an atrophying cerebral cortex. For abundantly confident am I, that I did read a Dr. Frank Anthony statement that we have stockpiles of Covid vaccines to the envy of the rest of the world, forced to have their Covid positive populace wait three months for vaccination.

Then low and behold after bragging that we have more Covid vaccines than anopheles mosquitos, my eyes were insulted by the following headline, “Guyana receives second of 38,400 Covid-19 vaccines through Covax mechanism.”

And on capturing this headline in my hippocampus, rushed I did to google, beseeching enlightenment on Covax. But shockingly to both bowels and bladder, discovered I did that Covax is a system of providing Covid vaccines, free of cost, to countries that don’t have or can’t pay with financial deductions from their Sugar Industry.

Surely this has to be greed on the level expected of my brainless gold fishes. For why else would PPP have stockpiles of Covid vaccines but yet refusing to retire their begging bowl? This must be a uniquely macabre, demented level Covid vaccine hoarding.  What you say Frank?
