Six persons are now in custody assisting police in Regional Division Six after the discovery of a firearm. The police made the discovery when they intercepted a motor car in New Amsterdam carrying the six persons. A search was conducted on the motorcar in the presence of all of the occupants during which a suspected firearm was found under the driver’s side seat.
