Khan is 25 years old and from the Wales Community Centre compound while Deonarine is 31 years old and from Lot 3 Seaview, Cornelia Ida WCD.

Inquiries disclosed that Khan was proceeding east along the northern side of the said road and Deonarine was proceeding west along the northern side of the said road when Khan saw that the car was coming in his driving lane. He pulled his left and Deonarine collided to the right side of the pick up.

As a result of the collision, Khan received injuries about his body and was taken out the said vehicle by public spirits citizens and taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital in a conscious state. He was seen and examined by a doctor on duty and admitted at the said hospital.

A breathalyzer test was conducted on Deonarine and found 0.30 and 0.37 micrograms in his system. The driver of the motorcar is in custody and an investigation is underway.
