As Christmas approaches, the Institute for Action Against Discrimination (IFAAD) extends warm greetings to all Guyanese and friends across the Caribbean. This season of joy reminds us of the enduring values of compassion, unity, and justice—principles that lie at the heart of our mission to fight discrimination in all its forms.

Christmas calls us to reflect on the importance of fairness, empathy, and inclusion in every corner of our society. Just as families gather to celebrate, share, and give, we are reminded that every individual deserves dignity, respect, and equal opportunity. This festive season, let us reaffirm our commitment to building a society where no one is left behind, and where diversity is celebrated as a source of strength.

IFAAD urges everyone to carry the spirit of Christmas beyond the holidays—through acts of kindness, speaking out against injustice, and fostering communities grounded in fairness and understanding. May the joy, hope, and generosity of this season inspire us all to take meaningful action toward a more equitable and inclusive Guyana.

From all of us at IFAAD, we wish you and your loved ones a peaceful, joyous, and hopeful Christmas. May 2026 be a year of unity, justice, and shared humanity.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
