(Trinidad Express)- Multiple US military drones appear to have flown above and around Trinidad and Tobago last month, some within mere miles of the Venezuelan coast, and at least one in the skies directly above the twin-island state.

Positions of alleged American attack drones detected by the New York Times in mid-October were shared with the Express by the Times on Friday. The locations show about 15 instances where at least four such drones, presumed to be MQ-9A “Reapers”, are believed to have travelled within T&T airspace over the country’s territory, at times nearing the maritime border it shares with Venezuela.
It also includes at least two instances where drones were detected flying North West of Trinidad, just off Venezuela’s Sucre State.
On October 15, a suspected US military drone was miles away from the VOR and requested transit, according to the Times’ map. At that time it was less than 10 miles off Trinidad’s western coast in the Gulf of Paria. On that same day, another drone allegedly flew directly over Longdenville.
