Is this the lowest the PPP Government can go — to plot against their political opponent, Mr. Azruddin Mohamed, and his father? Mr. Mohamed is soon to be sworn in as a Member of Parliament and is likely to assume the position of Leader of the Opposition.

It is deeply concerning to witness the blatant abuse of the Guyana Police Force and the courts to carry out what can only be described as political gimmicks, entirely outside the due process of the laws of Guyana.

I sincerely hope that when the day comes and the United States turn their attention to high-ranking members within the PPP, this same Government will be willing to do the same as they did Friday, October 31, 2025.

Due process and fair deliberation are the foundations of justice and the dignity of our great nation. I extend my blessings to Mr. Azruddin Mohamed and wish him strength to fight this battle to the very end.

To the PPP regime — there’s an old saying: “𝐁𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫.”
