The Guyana Office for Investment (GO-INVEST) will officially unveil the “Brand Guyana Gondola” this Saturday, September 20, 2025, as part of a national push to spotlight high-quality locally made products. The new branded retail spaces will be launched at Massy Stores in Providence and Turkeyen, creating a dedicated platform for goods bearing the “Made in Guyana” certification mark.

This initiative is the result of collaboration between GO-INVEST, the Guyana Marketing Corporation (GMC), and the Guyana National Bureau of Standards (GNBS). The gondola will serve as a visible and permanent retail fixture that promotes products certified by GNBS under the “Made in Guyana” programme.

According to a press statement issued Thursday, the project aims to increase visibility for Guyanese-manufactured goods, encouraging both domestic and international confidence in the country’s production quality.

The launch is said to align with President Irfaan Ali’s broader development agenda, which emphasises strengthening the agro-processing industry and supporting homegrown businesses. The administration has repeatedly highlighted the strategic role of agriculture and agro-business in Guyana’s long-term economic development and regional leadership in food security.

The Brand Guyana Gondola is expected to be an ongoing feature that helps translate that vision into tangible results—bringing local products to more consumers while reinforcing Guyana’s image as a rising player in agro-processing and certified manufacturing.
