Meet Vandon Worrell and Satti Thomas, the passionate husband-and-wife team behind Rayanna’s Little Bakery — a cozy, home-based bakery in Guyana born from love, hustle, and a shared dream.

Satti, a certified baker with a flair for crafting gorgeous, mouthwatering desserts, pairs perfectly with her husband, Vandon, who brings his talents in graphic design, video editing, 3D animation, and marketing to the table. Together, they’ve built more than just a bakery — they’ve created a brand that blends flavor, creativity, and storytelling into every treat.

“We have always had a love for baking and making people smile through food. After becoming parents, we wanted to build something from home that could support our family and give us a sense of purpose and independence. That’s how Rayanna’s Little Bakery was born, “ Worrel said.

From fresh strawberry shortcakes and fluffy donuts to savory chicken puffs, cake pops, and custom cakes, every item is made with care and passion. But building their dream hasn’t come without challenges. As parents and entrepreneurs, balancing early-morning baking with family life is no small feat. Transportation issues, financial hurdles, and supply limitations have all tested their resilience.

“There were times we experienced losses and setbacks,” Thomas admitted. “But we stay grounded through careful planning, honest communication, and constantly uplifting each other. The love we have for our work and the smiles it brings to others keep us going.”

Looking ahead, they envision turning Rayanna’s Little Bakery into a full-scale business with a dedicated space for baking and events. They’re also exploring exciting new product lines — think packaged snacks and signature desserts that fuse local flavors with gourmet flair.

“Don’t wait for the perfect moment; start with what you have. Believe in your vision, even if it’s small at first. Stay committed, learn from your failures, and never stop growing. Also, don’t be afraid to ask for help or look for inspiration. Most importantly, keep God at the center of everything,” is the duo’s advice for youths and aspiring entrepreneurs.

As the business continues to grow, the couple extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported them along the way.“Every like, share, and order means the world to us. We hope to keep spreading joy through baking — proving that even the smallest beginnings can lead to something beautiful,” the duo said.

Baked goods from  Rayanna’s Little Bakery can be ordered directly through their Facebook page(https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552554223651), WhatsApp, TikTok, or by direct call at 6945794 or 6771955.
