As we approach the joyous celebration of Christmas, the birth of Christ Jesus, we are reminded of the values that unite us as a nation. While our country embraces a diversity of faiths and beliefs, it is the strength of our unity in this diversity that defines us. The spirit of togetherness that resonates during this festive season reflects our shared commitment to the ideals embodied in our national motto: “One People, One Nation, One Destiny.”

Christmas is a time to reflect on the values of love, peace, goodwill, and understanding—values that transcend political differences and bring us closer together in service to our beloved nation. In this spirit, we extend our heartfelt wishes to you, your families, and loved ones, who continuously support you in your dedication to the people of Guyana. Your commitment to holding the government accountable, ensuring transparency in the use of public funds, and advocating for the welfare of all citizens is deeply appreciated.

We recognise the efforts of the opposition and all political parties in their ongoing work to serve the people of Guyana, ensure proper scrutiny of government spending, and hold the administration accountable for the resources entrusted to them. Your role in maintaining checks and balances in our democracy is essential, and we commend your unwavering service in this regard.

May this Christmas bring you peace, joy, and precious moments with your loved ones. As we look to the New Year, we wish you continued strength, good health, and success in all your efforts to serve the people and uphold the principles of justice and accountability.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
With warm regards,
Yours truly,
Bartica United Youth Development Group
