Representatives of some organisations with Mr. Amral Khan, Managing Director, Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited

Republic Bank Guyana Limited last Wednesday presented just over $1M each to 12 charitable organisations that cater to the needs of the differently-able, orphaned and elderly persons.

The donation was made at the bank’s Promenade Court, Head Office.

In spirit of sharing goodwill, the following entities received their annual gift from Managing Director Amral Khan:

St. John Bosco Orphanage

Byer’s Senior Citizens Home

Archers Home

Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre

Guyana Red Cross Society

Gentle Women’s Home

Nazareth Home

Uncle Eddie’s Home for Senior Citizens

Radio’s Needy Children’s Fund

Dharm Shala

St. Joseph Mercy Hospital

In a press release the bank said the gifts are part of its commitment to the less fortunate which for decades has been an annual outreach to bring to fruition the Bank’s fulfillment of its covenant, via deeds and special donations to these entities.
