Co-founder of the Alliance For Change (AFC) and former Leader and Chairman has been appointment the Party General Secretary (GS) by acclamation. The Party is holding its National Conference today. The position was held by  Sherrod Duncan who was not nominated for the GS position. The other nominees for the position were Cathy Hughes, Derek Basdeo and Ricky Ramsaroop.
