Given her background, the expectation is that she would advocate for a rigorous application of the law — especially when it comes to ensuring that government vehicles are used responsibly and lawfully.

While the minister has worked to promote our country as a premier destination for tourism and sustainable development, her family’s involvement in this mishap deeply contrasts with the image of accountability her ministry projects. Waldron and her office must take immediate steps to rectify the situation, starting with a thorough investigation into the accident and a commitment to public transparency regarding the findings.
