Firefighters were dispatched to the scene and worked to bring the situation under control, though the structure was reportedly gutted by the time the fire was contained.

Details surrounding the cause of the fire remain unclear, and investigations are ongoing. There were no immediate reports of casualties up to the time of reporting.

The incident adds to growing concerns about fire safety in densely built sections of the city, where commercial and residential properties often exist in close proximity.
