The engagements culminated in a presentation and networking session involving more than 25 businesses representing a wide cross-section of sectors.

A major highlight was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association (GMSA) and the National Association of Metallurgical and Electromechanical Companies (ANEME) to explore mutually beneficial opportunities for their members.

ANEME has announced plans to return to Guyana with a full trade mission in the first quarter of 2027, further strengthening commercial ties between Portuguese and Guyanese businesses.
