Dear Editor,

Former president Donald Ramotar’s letter titled “Dangers Facing Humanity”, is a matter to be neither trivialised nor ignored, he calls upon the US and all sane and sensible people to support the proposal to extend the Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT) treaty for another year.
Those of us who were already in public life, recall the anxious moments and fears we all experienced during October 1962, it was referred to as the Cuban missile crisis. Of course, history generated by the West only refers to missiles in Cuba, and not those in Turkey.

Yours truly,
Elder Hamilton Green
