Jade’s Wok, Pinnacle Business Services, and Cubs in Action International have  once again reaffirmed their commitment to youth sports by sponsoring the  National U14 Rapid Chess Championships. The tournament is scheduled for  Saturday, February 7, 2026, at School of the Nations, with matches beginning at  9:00 a.m. More than fifty players are expected to compete for the National Rapid  Chess Championship titles in both the Open and Girls categories. The  tournament will consist of seven rounds played in a Swiss System format,  utilizing a time control of 15 minutes plus a 5-second increment per move.

This year’s tournament promises to be exceptionally competitive. With 2025  champions Nicholas Zhang and Emma John having aged out of the category, the  field is wide open for a new pair of national champions to emerge.
