The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) has launched its website, marking a key step in the hospital’s ongoing digital transformation. The launch, held on Monday at the GPHC Resource Centre, reflects the institution’s commitment to transparency, patient-centred care, and innovation.

The website serves as GPHC’s digital front door, providing patients, students, and the public with easy access to accurate and timely information. Users can now register online, book appointments, and access educational resources, reducing wait times and improving patient flow. It also features detailed information on hospital services, departments, and news updates.

According to Chief Executive Officer Robbie Rambarran, the platform complements ongoing initiatives to strengthen communication with patients and families, emphasizing that in today’s digital age, timely and clear information is essential for effective healthcare delivery.

Communications Manager Stacy Peters highlighted that the website bridges longstanding information gaps, offering a centralized, reliable source for the public. Developed in collaboration with Fiscal Frontier, a woman owned firm, the platform showcases GPHC’s comprehensive services while highlighting innovation, local expertise and commitment to patient-centred care .

The launch represents the first phase of a broader vision for digital healthcare at GPHC, with plans to introduce interactive features and expanded e-health services across all branches. This initiative positions GPHC as a regional leader in healthcare innovation, reinforcing its commitment to accessible, efficient, and patient-focused care.

The website is now live and can be accessed at: gphc.gov.gy
