CARIBPR WIRE, FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. : Guyanese-born, US-based entrepreneur and media executive, Felicia J. Persaud, has quietly achieved a groundbreaking milestone: building and soft-launching the world’s first AI-powered debt capital platform, designed to connect institutional investors, lenders, investment agencies, and qualified borrowers across global markets.

The new platform – AI Capital Exchange, aicapitalexchange.net, – was conceptualized and fully built by Persaud over the past four months, leveraging artificial intelligence to create a first-of-its-kind system for matching borrowers with vetted global capital sources.

Despite not being a traditional tech founder, Persaud designed and developed the platform herself, using AI tools and automation to build a fully functional, cross-border debt financing marketplace that pre-qualifies borrowers, organizes deal flow, and connects investors to real opportunities across the U.S., the Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, Europe and Asia.

“This platform was born from my desire to close the massive capital access gap facing Caribbean and emerging-market developers, entrepreneurs, and agencies,” Persaud said. “AI has given us the power to democratize access to global debt financing, and I’m proud that a Guyanese-born woman and immigrant built this system from the ground up.”

The AI Capital Exchange allows:

  • Borrowers to pre-qualify for financing and match with lenders for commercial real estate, renewable energy, equipment, business expansion, and tech loans.
  • Lenders & Investors to access pre-screened, AI-organized deal flow.
  • Investment Agencies & Governments to increase visibility for national investment programs and attract global capital.

The platform has been submitted to the India AI Global Impact Challenge 2026, which recognizes innovations leveraging artificial intelligence to solve global economic and social challenges.

Persaud, the CEO of ICN Group and founder behind Invest Caribbean, CaribPR Wire, Hard Beat Communications and the News Americas Now Diaspora News Network, says AI Capital Exchange is just the beginning.

“This is a pilot launch, but the foundation is powerful,” she added. “I have built something the world has never seen – and the goal is to scale it globally.”

The platform is now live for early testing at: https://aicapitalexchange.net

AI Capital Exchange is also welcoming interest from investors and strategic partners seeking to support the platform’s early growth and expansion. Interested parties may connect through the investor portal: https://www.investcaribbeannow.com/ai-capital-exchange/investors
